Two more photos from my grandma’s farm.

1. Some of the prettiest sunsets in Texas happen on this farm

2. My dad is silly some most of the time.

Christmas Memories

Today my family celebrated Christmas, which marks the 3rd celebration I had this year. Before the Christmas season completely passes as New Year’s Eve draws closer, I wanted to share some images from the past two Christmas celebrations.

On Christmas Eve, we ventured to my grandma’s house, as we do every year. As much of a city girl as I consider myself, it’s always fun to go to the farm. It feels like such a different world. Here’s a few photos I took while we were there:

Rumor has it that this bottle shown below has been living at my grandma’s since the late 70s. It’s made in the Czech Republic, (Czechoslovakia at the time). That Kevorkian sticker was added at some point later down the road, of course. The company still produces this! We found it at Beverage World in south Austin, but the modern bottle looks a lot less impressive.

And of course it isn’t Christmas unless Santa stops by..

And here’s a few photos of our Christmas at home..

Earlier this year I did a shoot for Citygram over at Contigo. Luckily, this was one of those shoots where we got to eat everything we photographed! And everything was so delicious. Here are some photos from the shoot!
