Nomad Dosa

Yesterday I met a friend over at Nomad Dosa for lunch. Even though it was windy and chilly out, it was sunny, and the spiciness of the dosa filling warmed me right up. I wound up getting the crispy dosa with the holy cow filling. Very tasty and satisfying! And more than I could finish.

If you’re thinking of visiting, it’s one of the trailers over in the big gathering of food trailers over on South Congress. Easy to find!

Los Angeles

A few years ago, I spent a week in Los Angeles, walking around downtown, visiting Olvera Street, the Getty, Santa Monica, and some other random places. This year, if I can swing it, I’d love to take a trip back and spend time visiting some smaller shops and less touristy places. But thinking about all of this made me nostalgic for the city, so I went through some of my old photos and had some fun reprocessing them using VSCO Film.

Austin City Guide for VSCO

I was thrilled to shoot an Austin City Guide for Visual Supply Co. I journeyed around to some of my favorite Austin places, and took photos, and then edited them using VSCO Film.

I wish I could have included ALL my favorite Austin places, but I think that would have meant a city guide of over 50 places!

Go check out the Austin City Guide here to see which five places I decided to include.

Tipsy Texan Book Available for Pre-Order

On Friday, I found out that one of the books I photographed last year is now on Amazon!

More on this later, but for now I just wanted to share the cover image and make a squealing noise!

Happy Tuesday! (I was about to type Wednesday. Today definitely feels more like a Wednesday).

Crostini

Sometimes life just requires some french bread made into crostini. And endless topping options.
