Galaxy Cafe
Boyfriend and I went to Galaxy Cafe on Saturday for a late lunch. Yummy. I had the fried fish sandwich with mac n’ cheese and he had a chicken sandwich with tomato soup. And then we split a creme brulee. Delicious.

Uchiko
Two Sundays ago, I participated in this great event that Keeper Collection put on called the Wine Ride. I’ll do an upcoming post on the event itsself this week.. but.. I wanted to share some snaps I took at Uchiko before and after the event. Uchiko was the start and finish line for the race, and afterwards they brought out a bunch of wines and food for us and.. IT. WAS. HEAVEN. Such amazing food. So good. So so good. If you haven’t been here yet.. go now. Just go. They open at 5pm.

Published: Edible Austin Winter
Last Fall, I got to shoot a really cool assignment for Edible Austin to appear in their winter issue. The assignment had me travel to three different local coffee shops to take photos (Once Over Coffee, Houndstooth Coffee, and La Boite Cafe). For the article, I got to take photos of the process of them making different types of coffee, whether that be a latte, french press coffee, espresso, the pour over method, etc.
You can check out the article in the digital version of the magazine here or pick up a copy at many locations around Austin.
Below are some screenshots of the article (cover photo by Marc Brown) and some of the photos I took on assignment.

Happy 2011
My 2010 ended just the way it began, with good friends and my boyfriend. A lot of great things happened in 2010, and I have a feeling even more fantastic things are coming in 2011.
Josh and I decided to start off the year with a walk with our puppy. Perfect weather, exercise, and family time. A great start, if you ask me.
