Downtown Farmer’s Market

I FINALLY did one of the things that has been on my to-do list ever since moving back to Austin. Go to the downtown farmer’s market. Saturday morning is usually such a perfect day to sleep in for me, not have to worry about being anywhere at a certain time… and of course the farmer’s market is on Saturday morning. But we went, this Saturday. And I think I now have a reason to get up early on Saturdays.

Perla’s Exteriors

It has been a long time since I went to Perla’s. To be fair, I’ve only been once. But I keep meaning to go back. And I know when I finally do, it will be fantastic.

Cover Outtakes

Outtakes from a cover shoot I did the photography on and the wonderful Kathy Phan did the styling for. I’ll share the actual cover very very soon.

Mmmmm… spaghetti and mustard and bbq sauce. Delicious.

Fredricksburg, Texas – Part One

Last Saturday my parents and I decided to take a little road trip out to Fredricksburg. I had driven through a few times on road trips, but had never stopped, and they had never been. I also hadn’t traveled out of Austin since mid-April, so this seemed like an awesome little road trip/vacation with my parents. Here’s the first round of photos, more to come!

View from the Line at the Downtown Alamo

Last Saturday, a group of ten of us went to see Master Pancake – The Blind Side at the Alamo Drafthouse downtown. Because there were so many of us and it was my brother’s birthday, of course we wanted to get ten seats close together, which always means getting there early and waiting in line. But no problem, because as we were waiting we got to see the energy of people out on Sixth Street and I snapped these:
