Hyde Park
Sometimes, walking in the neighborhood behind my place can get really tiring. It’s just house after big house after big house, most of them uninteresting and just oversized. Sidewalks are there.. but in places they just come to an end and it’s not clear why. And then there are big brick mailboxes, one in front of every house, taking up half the sidewalk, not leaving enough room for my boyfriend, puppy and me to walk side-by-side.
So we decided to do something different last Saturday and we went for a walk in Hyde Park. It was lovely. And I took photos, of course.
Getting started… and we see a Moon Tower!
Mi Casa es…
Giant Fork!
She speaks softly and carries a big stick.

Weird! I’ve never seen the giant fork without something speared on the end. Somebody must have eaten it.

Did you do something to get the sky exposed in some of those shots?
The fork and the one with the fence, house and sky come to mind.

Hi Jon, sometimes I’ll use the luminance slider in lightroom for the blues to make it a little not-so-blown out. I don’t really like to use it very often because it does give off a bit of a fake feel, but sometimes it’s fun to experiment.
