Snack Bar is a lovely little restaurant right by the Austin Motel on South Congress. I ate there for lunch about a month ago, but with the craziness that is April, never got around to posting photos.

They have a covered patio area that my lunch companions and I had a lovely time sitting at, even on a cloudy Austin day that threatened rain. I absolutely adored the patio with it’s wood and stone, letting in gorgeous light, and plants everywhere. Now the food.. I had the shrimp and grits, which was tasty but the salads that I saw people around me ordering looked AMAZING. Next time I go back, I am definitely going to try one of their salads.
