She’s got style, she’s got grace..
On Saturday, I met up with one of my most stylish friends for a photoshoot– Kathy Phan. If that name sounds familiar.. yes, she is the one who makes the delicious and creative cake pops!
She brought some amazing, super-cute items for much photo taking. She did a FANTASTIC job finding all the props and styling them. Below are some of the results of her styling prowess and my photo-taking love. SOME. Hint hint.. there might be more photos soon.
South Congress Stroll
Taking advantage of the beautiful weather that’s been showing itself in Austin lately, Josh and I took my best friend Steph (a new Austinite) down South Congress for her first visit to this street and its shops. We had a marvelous time, going in many of the usual places (Big Top, Uncommon Objects) and spotting many food places I want to try (Snack Bar, South Congress Cafe).

Published in Pictory
I’ve been a fan of Pictory since I saw their San Francisco showcase, and I frequently check out their photo stories to admire the work of other photographers.
On a whim, I decided to enter a photo to be considered for publication in the Pictory photo story for “Neighborhood Treasure.” And well.. what do you know? I found out today that the photo has been included as one of the 31 photos featured in the story. Looking through the rest of these photos, it’s so amazing to see many different parts of the world captured through the residents’ eyes (and cameras!) You can view the whole photo story here. Mine is #15.
