Tasty Up Trailer Tour 02.08.
On Saturday, so I started off the Tasty Up Trailer Tour with a trip to La Boite (read post here), and then continued on to Texas Cuban and Odd Duck Farm to Trailer before being way too stuffed to continue on.
At Texas Cuban, we had croquettas and a Cuban sandwich with plantain chips.
We then headed over to the area where Gourdough’s, Odd Duck and Austin Brevita (a coffee shop) are located. Although all three are delicious, on Saturday Josh and I only had Odd Duck. He had carrot soup and a rabbit soup with grits and a farm egg. Both of those were super-delicious and wonderfully rich. I had shrimp with cauliflower and quail over a sweet potato puree with pecans. Both of those were tasty, but not quite as tasty as Josh’s.
Oh.. and I couldn’t resist snapping a couple of photos of the Gourdough’s trailer.. even if I was too full to try their donut hole sampler.
