La Boite.. Again.
Okay, I couldn’t help myself. I went back to La Boite. I took more photos. But this time was different. First of all, it was a much warmer and sunny day. Secondly, this was my first stop on the Tasty Up Trailer Tour, which was an event bringing food lovers out to a lot of the food trailers in Austin. Many of the trailers on the tour had longer-than-usual hours and were serving special samplers or smaller portions.
At La Boite, I had a cup of their French press coffee which was delicious and an almond croissant– the perfect amount of crunchy outside, chewy inside with a generous dusting of powdered sugar covered with almond slices. (I took so many photos of them.. see below). And the service here was excellent! They handled a huge amount of customers with friendliness and efficiency.

Love that last shot of the croissants – beautiful! Sounds like you had fun…glad the weather cooperated.

The almond croissants were so good. I wish I was eating them now instead of cheerios at my cube. The last shot is my fave, too. P.S. I like how your comments are center justified.

Awesome pics, Aimee. Thanks for checking out our post on Moveable Feast–we’re jealous you’ve gotten to taste La Boite’s goods twice already!
