La Boite Cafe 02.01.
Look at that pastry case. Just look. Closely. Chocolate croissants, almond croissants, brioche.. is your mouth watering yet?
On Sunday, I met up with a few fantastic bloggers (kathyphantastic, Sharon Loves This and Foodie is the New Forty). We started at La Boite on South Lamar. If you haven’t seen this place yet.. it is fantastic. It’s built from a reused shipping container and they pack in so much style and delicious food into such a small space. It was a super-chilly day, so it was all closed up, but on warmer days, I think they open it up so you can walk right up to order. Also.. we ran into the designer of the place while there! A lovely surprise.
I had a cappuccino, which was delicious and we got 4 of the salted caramel macarons to-go (to eat for dessert after our lunch up north). Oh, but I can’t wait to try other things in that pastry case! The almond croissant especially. Anyway.. more photos below.. enjoy!
