For most of the photos I just held up and clicked and tried to get something decent. Getting my camera to focus while driving was the hardest part. The ones I actually looked through the viewfinder where ones where I was stuck in traffic or waiting at a light. You bet I was actually driving! I can't tell you how many times I've been driving my car with one hand while trying to take a photo with the other hand. My camera isn't quite as heavy as yours is, though; I can't imagine trying to take a photo while driving with an SLR. Love the sunset in the mirror...
