2009 – Year in Review (part three) 12.31.
—————-
In August, I had two of my photos published in a magazine (7×7) and Josh and I saw the Seattle Sounders play FC Barcelona.
My best friend Steph came for a visit and we had lots of fun hanging out in Seattle. We flew kites, went and saw an amazing Jim Hensen exhibit at the EMP/SFM, ate conveyor belt sushi in Fremont, did some vintage shopping, and did the robot at Kerry Park.

After Steph’s visit, Josh and I concentrated on packing our apartment for the movers to come on August 21st.
We said goodbye to Seattle the night of August 21st, and spent the next two weeks traveling through California, first spending a week in the Jackson area close to Sacramento and going to the State Fair, and then spending a week in Los Angeles before heading the rest of the way east to Austin (stopping for brief periods of time in Phoenix, Tucson, and El Paso).
We arrived in Austin at the beginning of September.
We spent September, October and most of November in Austin before we embarked on our next road trip over Thanksgiving– Michigan and back with a short stop in St. Louis.
And after some lovely family time over the holidays, we’re ending up the year in Austin with a new member of our family (our Australian Cattle Dog mix puppy, Sydney).
I look forward to capturing 2010!
