Michigan State University
For the Thanksgiving holiday, Josh and I took a nice looong road trip up to Michigan. We had a great time spending time with his family, but on Friday we took a break from a full house to take a nice walk around Michigan State University in East Lansing. In doing so, we chose the coldest day of our trip to visit campus. We bundled up in sweaters, scarves, gloves, and hats and had a marvelous time out in the cold and wind.
A few weeks ago, I was a bit bummed I was missing all the beautiful fall colors in the Pacific Northwest.. however being in Lansing and walking around MSU almost made up for it. Many of the leaves had already fallen from the trees, but as you can see there were still some hanging on.
More photos from the trip to come soon.

Oh…I SO miss fall. I can almost smell the leaves after seeing your beautiful photos – and I love that black squirrel!
Did you go to MSU? I went to U of MI…don’t hold it against me. :)

No, I didn’t go to school up there. So no rivalries! I went to school here in Texas. This was actually my first trip to Michigan.
And the black squirrel was amazing! I don’t think I had ever seen one before. And he/she was just chilling, posing ever so nicely for the photo.
