Halloween Night 11.01.
Halloween night was great. We drove to downtown Austin a little before 10 and met up with my brother Eric and his girlfriend Kat. We really just walked down 6th Street. There wasn’t a need to go in anywhere, as so much action was going on in the street. Had a great time posing with people for photos and taking in all the costumes. There was this one guy wearing a huge plastic bag with some rock-looking things in the bottom. Eric, Kat, Josh and I all stared at him trying to figure out what he was, and he yelled “I’m a giant bag of weed!” We also saw bananas, weird monsters, Richard Nixon, Balloon Boy, Tetris pieces, Crayons, Team Zissou, and then put the word “sexy” onto the beginning of almost any costume and we saw it. Sexy Mario and Luigi, Sexy Kitten, Sexy Zombie, etc.
Josh’s costume as Max from Where the Wild Things Are was a huge hit. He had so many people yelling “Max!” at him. People would run up to him and said “Max, I love you!” He even had girls roll down their car windows just so they could yell at him and tell him how great he was. Costume Win!
After 6th, we drove to a party up north to meet with some friends and had a lovely time there, chatting, meeting new people and drinking mysterious but awesome punch.
