Playing Tourist in Seattle – Part 1 07.19.
My parents arrived Wednesday morning.. around 1:10am. So Wednesday around 11am or so we headed out to check out the town and I got to play tourist for a few days.
Our first stop was the 5 Spot where we ate breakfast, and then took a nice leisurely walk over to Kerry Park and back home. We also drove over to the locks in Ballard in the afternoon for a nice relaxing day.
Thursday was the perfect day to have lunch at Lowells in Pike Place Market, walk around and head over to the Central Library. Then we drove to Seattle Center and walked around, rode the bumper cars and we finished the day off by stopping by the Queen Anne Farmers Market.
