Road Trip to California 06.17.
Back in late April/early May my boyfriend Josh and I took a road trip down to California. It’s the first time I’ve taken a road trip of such a long distance.. and I loved every second of it. Even the seconds where I was so tired and wanted to pull over to the side of the road and take out my contacts. Even the seconds where Josh was swinging around the curves on Highway 1 like it was nothing and I was terrified we’d plummet over the edge. Even the seconds I was driving through Stockton, California on some interstate, having no clue where I was going and it was pouring rain. (After that Josh made me pull over into a Starbucks parking lot so we could switch and he could drive). Even those times. It was fantastic.
I had such an amazing time. We left Seattle, stayed a night in south Oregon, stopped for a couple of days in San Francisco, drove to San Luis Obispo and stayed for a few days, then up to the Jackson, California area for a few days before heading back to Seattle.
